Vets4Vets was founded with a simple but powerful belief: veterans deserve to be evaluated by providers who truly understand military service.
Dr. Matthew Tanner and Dr. Brandon Wilkinson, both providers who served in the United States Army, saw firsthand the challenges veterans face when navigating the VA disability examination process. Through their own service and medical careers, they recognized a gap—too often, veterans were evaluated by providers who lacked direct military experience and an understanding of the physical, mental, and occupational demands of service.
Dr. Tanner and Dr. Wilkinson founded Vets4Vets with one clear mission: to improve the VA disability exam experience for veterans by building a network of predominantly veteran and veteran-adjacent providers who understand the culture, the service, and the people they serve.

All Vets4Vets clinics are staffed by healthcare professionals who are veterans themselves. This shared background fosters trust, respect, and a deeper understanding of military culture, service-related conditions, and the lifelong impact of serving our country. Our providers approach every examination with professionalism, objectivity, and care—honoring both the veteran and the integrity of the VA disability process.

Appointments are scheduled through the Department of Veterans Affairs, and we do not accept walk-ins. This structure ensures consistency, accountability, and a focused environment where veterans are treated with dignity and respect.
